Terms of Service & Beta License

GBS Tools is an independent software developer. Archicad® and Graphisoft® are registered trademarks of Graphisoft SE. GBS Tools, GBS Studios, and our products (including Lay-it-out, Bring-it-in, and Freeform) are independent software offerings and are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Graphisoft SE.
1. Beta Software License Grant
During the Public Beta phase, GBS Studios grants you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free license to download, install, and execute Lay-it-out on compatible computers for evaluation and workflow purposes.
You agree not to decompile, reverse-engineer, modify, redistribute, or repackage the binary add-on files without express written authorization from GBS Studios.
2. Beta Warning & Limitation of Liability
You acknowledge that the software provided is in Public Beta state. While rigorously tested, beta software may contain unforeseen edge cases, memory leaks, or display anomalies when handling complex polygon geometries.
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. IN NO EVENT SHALL GBS STUDIOS OR ITS DEVELOPERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, LOSS OF ARCHITECTURAL PROJECT FILES, PRODUCTION DOWNTIME, OR FINANCIAL LOSSES ARISING FROM THE USE OF THE SOFTWARE.
3. Future Commercial Model
GBS Tools operates on a purchase once, keep the eligible version philosophy for released desktop tools. Future release builds may offer lifetime licenses. Beta versions do not create an obligation or entitlement to free future commercial major versions, unless explicitly declared.
4. Governing Jurisdiction & Contact
These terms are governed by the applicable commercial laws of the operating jurisdiction of GBS Studios. Inquiries regarding licensing agreements may be directed to gbsarchitectstudio@gmail.com.
