1. Our Commitment to Architectural Privacy

GBS Tools ("we", "us", "our") is operated by GBS Studios. We build native software tools for architectural practitioners. We firmly believe that your architectural models, floor plans, and proprietary project data belong exclusively to you.

Our Desktop Add-ons: Lay-it-out and other Archicad add-ons execute locally on your computer. They do not upload your drawings, slab geometry, floor plans, or project names to external cloud servers.

2. Information We Collect on This Website

• Download Telemetry: When an official package (e.g. Lay_it_out.zip) is downloaded, we record aggregate metrics (release ID, timestamp, and anonymous referrer category) to track product demand. We do not store raw IP addresses.
• Feedback and Bug Reports: When you submit a feature request or bug report, your contact email is collected solely for our engineering team to communicate with you about your report. Your email is kept strictly confidential and is never rendered publicly.
• Newsletter Subscriptions: If you opt in to receive release notifications, we record your email address and explicit timestamped consent. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any announcement or by contacting us.

3. Data Storage & Security

Website records are securely managed through Google Cloud Firebase Firestore and Google Cloud Storage infrastructure. We apply server-side authorization controls to ensure only verified administrators have access to private bug submission queues and audit logs.
